How many times have you been on social media and you see advertisements and business promotions? A lot, right?
It’s not fun when you feel you’re being spammed to death, right? After all, that’s why we often skip past commercials as quickly as we can.
Instead, the brands we love are the ones that entertain us, educate us, and engage us. Provide us with humor, information, helpful tips, or stories that inspire us. After we are engaged, THEN you can ask us to do business with you, right?
That’s why I teach the Three E’s in my social media marketing classes.
You want to create Entertaining, Educational, and Engaging posts that will get the attention of your ideal customers. After you have created posts using the Three E’s, you may then send them to your website to schedule an appointment, check out your online specials, or invite them to read your blog.
Also, you want to keep your target audience in mind when creating your Entertaining, Educational, and Engaging posts. Just because it’s educational to YOU doesn’t necessarily mean it’s what your ideal customers want to see. I know it’s tempting to get really technical about your work. But your customers simply want to know that you are knowledgeable, have a good heart, share the same values, and you’ll make sure their car doesn’t break down.
